(I report here a post on Facebook of a few days ago.)
Det her er min far med sin Renault 4L. Han elsker det bil: da han var ung, han har haft (og solgte) to 4Ler, og nu har tre nye. Han er nu en medlem af et klub, og går tit til ydeevner.
Ok, enough Danish for today. Anyway, I am starting now to build a model of this car, and I want it to be a Christmas present for my dad. I would like it to look so close as possible to his, including small defects and details that make it unique. I hope I can ask you guys for advice for making this present the best possible.
To start first question. The model has a roof which can be opened, my father's car doesn't. Is there an easy way to fix this? I guess I could glue the closed roof and sand it down so that it looks like it was only one piece, hoping that it's thick enough.
Second: the seats. My father removed the original ones and placed those of the Peugeot 206 (for my short sister's better comfort). I guess that I should take the seats from a model of the 206, but the only ones that I could find (after a short research) had sports seats. Any suggestions about this? Does anyone know a model that fits my needs? Or another car with similar seats?
